Bad Music 2003

The year 2003 saw the demise of a number of Bad Music artists (Wesley Willis, Lucia Pamela) and the removal of MP3.com's massive collection of weird audio. Yet even with these great losses, there was still much to celebrate in the year of Bad Music.

This year's CDs were packaged in a slimline CD marketed by 5inch.com, which presented its own challenges. The cover was a black and white détourned comic, which was a design that was adopted after the first initial design idea of a hand-printed color cover fell through. Maybe next year!

The CD featured many songs downloaded from MP3.com, as well as some truly inspired Mary Baker Eddy/Christian Science songs brought to us on a cable TV program called "Junior Christian Teaching Bible Lesson Program!" (don't forget the final exclamation point). A stellar lineup for this year.
